Its like the movie "Commando" only in book form. It is over the top and good for a laugh or two. I admit I enjoy the story line and the history is accurate as well.

Empathetic and powerfully acted, Beach Rats takes a clear-eyed yet dreamlike look at a young man's adolescent turmoil%(). On the outskirts of Brooklyn, Frankie, an aimless teenager, suffocates under the oppressive glare cast by his family and a toxic group of delinquent friends.

Pointing to the film’s ending, one. I have had to struggle with my reactions to Beach Rats. It is possible, of course, to admire something, especially if that something is a work of art, as Beach Rat is, without liking it.

The problems for me in the film, I think, are two fold: its repetitiveness and its s: Juno Beach, the second beach from the east among the five landing areas of the Normandy Invasion of World War II. It was assaulted on June 6, (D-Day of the invasion), by units of the Canadian 3rd Infantry Division, who took heavy casualties in the first wave.
